Rentable E-commerce System: v5.56.0
Sellvio version v5.56.0 further enhances the flexibility of order management and product settings, while expanding automation and shipping capabilities. The new version introduces a pre-order feature, enables more precise shipping restrictions and substitute product recommendations, improves the handling of order and billing data, provides AI-based product recategorization, automates the completion of GLS parcel data, adds a new shipping integration, and extends multilingual URL management settings.
Sellvio Express shipping integration
The update introduces Sellvio Express as a new shipping integration, which is Sellvio’s own delivery solution. Within the integration, Express courier services (MPL, SameDay, DPD, Foxpost) and Sellvio Express parcel locker services (Foxpost, Easybox, PostaPont, MPL, Packeta) are available separately.

This simplifies shipping configuration, as webshops can access courier and pickup-point solutions from multiple providers through a single integration. Centralized management enables a more flexible delivery offering, while customers can choose from several pickup methods during checkout.
AI recategorization
As part of the AI package, the new version enables bulk recategorization of products using artificial intelligence. Based on product data, the system automatically suggests appropriate categories while processing multiple products simultaneously.

This feature significantly speeds up the organization and maintenance of larger product catalogs by reducing manual categorization work. As a result, the product structure remains more consistent, and webshop navigation and management become easier.
Pre-order delivery date
In the new version, it is possible to predefine the expected delivery date for products, allowing the system to automatically manage the ordering and shipping logic of pre-orderable items. If a pre-order product is placed in the cart together with items available for immediate delivery, the system automatically creates separate orders, and prepayment options are not available.

This is an ideal solution for pre-order or later-arriving products, as it enables precise communication of the expected delivery time. Customers can clearly see the expected delivery time of the given product already in the cart and throughout the checkout process.
Setting products that cannot be shipped internationally
From now on, it is possible to specify for each product whether international shipping is allowed. Based on this setting, the system automatically restricts international shipping options for the affected products.

This is particularly useful for products that can only be sold domestically due to legal, logistical, or manufacturer-related reasons. Customers receive clear feedback in the cart and during checkout, helping to prevent incorrect orders and failed deliveries.
Printing customer notes
The update allows customer notes associated with an order to appear on the order’s printable PDF. The system displays only customer notes, while administrators’ internal notes are still excluded from printing.

This can be useful during packing and shipping processes, as the information provided by the customer is visible directly on the printed order document.
Automatic filling of Billingo billing data
In the new version, during order invoicing, the system automatically fills in the billing service provider name and the payment method selected in the order in the Billingo interface. This reduces the need for manual data entry and makes invoice creation faster and more accurate, as order data is transferred directly to the invoicing interface. As a result, the likelihood of errors is reduced and administration becomes easier to manage.
Automatic filling of GLS parcel information
In the new version, when using the GLS shipping method, the parcel information related to the order is filled in automatically. Based on the order data, the system sets the parcel number, parcel contents, pickup date, as well as the cash-on-delivery amount and reference ID. This automation makes GLS shipping administration faster and more accurate: parcel data is entered into the system consistently and without errors, resulting in smoother logistics processes.
Substitute products
The update introduces the ability to define substitute products for individual items. If a product is out of stock or not orderable, the webshop automatically displays the configured substitute products to customers. These products are available during the browsing and consideration process.

This helps prevent lost sales in case of stock shortages, as customers immediately receive alternative offers instead of the unavailable product. The feature improves the customer experience and increases conversion by offering relevant substitute products during the ordering process.
Language-specific URLs for information blocks
In the latest version of Sellvio, information blocks have been modified, translations can now have a separate URL defined for each enabled language, not only for the default one. This setting fully follows the logic of multilingual content management, as content for individual languages can appear under their own links. This improves navigation, user experience, and search engine optimization as well.
